What other records can Ninja set?

Tyler “Ninja” Blevins is officially the first streamer on Twitch to reach 10 million followers. He made the announcement on his Twitter account on Thursday.

Ninja isn’t a stranger to breaking records on Twitch, as he and Drake pulled in 628k viewers on a Fortnite stream in March, a record at the time for an individual account. Ninja later broke his own record a month later, with another Fortnite stream.

Socialblade, a tool that tracks data from streamers and influencers, recorded Ninja’s Twitch followers at a total of 555,000 on Sept. 26, 2017 – the day Epic launched Fortnite’s Battle Royale mode. Ninja’s popularity is said to have increased dramatically because of the success of Fortnite and battle royale, according to GamesIndustry.

Fortnite was made available for iOS devices in April, and within its first month it raked in over $25 million through in-app purchases. Like its iOS counterpart, Fortnite for Android devices is still set to feature cross-play between other platforms the game is available on.
