Nier: Automata’s YoRHa No. 2 Type B (or simply 2B for short) is making her way to Soulcalibur 6.
Announced on the official Soulcalibur Twitter account, no firm date for 2B’s release was given, only that she was “coming soon.” The tweet reads “Mission: eliminate hostile entity known as Soul Edge… Wielding her signature swords, the combat android will keep on fighting until her task is completed. Coming soon!”

2B is an android created to destroy mechanical lifeforms, and will fight using her dual blades (Virtuous Contract and Virtuous Treaty), using acrobatic leaps and mid-air slashes along with quick evasions and precision strikes. 2B will also come with her own stage, background music, an optional costume and extra weapons once she becomes available in Soulcalibur 6.
Earlier this year, Tira was announced as a Soulcalibur 6 DLC character alongside the Libra of Soul story mode. Both Tira and 2B can be purchased as part of the game’s season pass along with two yet to be announced playable characters and two armor packs.
In our review of Soulcalibur 6, we called the game “Great” saying, “The soul of Soulcalibur 6 is so strong that a few minor issues don’t do much to bring down one of the best entries in the series.”
