December is just around the corner, which means Xbox Live Gold subscribers are running out of time to download November’s free games for Xbox One and Xbox 360. If you haven’t grabbed them yet, you have until December 1 to pick up this month’s freebies, or else you’ll have to pay full price–and who wants to do that? The games available now are Battlefield 1, Race the Sun, and Dante’s Inferno. Come December 1, two of them will go back to regular price, with the third following a couple weeks later.
Battlefield 1 is an online shooter set during World War 1. Its single-player campaign is made up of missions starring an assortment characters as they fight in real historical battles. The online side of the game features a wide selection of multiplayer modes and maps.
November’s Xbox 360 game that’s still available is Dante’s Inferno, a gory brawler in the vein of God of War that boasts high-minded literary origins. You can play Dante’s Inferno on Xbox One thanks to backwards compatibility.
Finally, Race the Sun is an Xbox One game that will remain free for Gold members until December 15. It’s an endless flying game that has you avoiding obstacles and acquiring power-ups as you soar toward the horizon in an effort to keep the sun from setting.
Grab these games before they’re replaced by December’s Games with Gold, which include QUBE 2 and Dragon Age II, among others.
