Three Resident Evil classics come to Switch in May

Take Resident Evil, Resident Evil 0, and Resident Evil 4 on the go

Capcom will bring three Resident Evil games — the Resident Evil remake, Resident Evil 0, and Resident Evil 4 — to Nintendo Switch on May 21, the publisher announced today. All three games will be available digitally from the Switch eShop.

Pricing for the three games was not announced, though all three will be available for pre-order starting Feb. 28. Capcom said it plans to release a physical version containing the Resident Evil HD remaster and Resident Evil 0 as part of a package named Resident Evil Origins Collection.

Those three games were all originally released on Nintendo GameCube, and have since been ported to a variety of platforms. Resident Evil 4 is available far and wide; Capcom has released the game on PlayStation 2, Wii, iOS, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Windows PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One over the years.

Capcom first announced the trio of Resident Evil games for Switch last October.
