And someone new joins the fight
Just after the release of Captain Marvel, a new trailer for Avengers: Endgame, the fourth Avengers movie, has dropped.
The previous trailers showed the decimation that Thanos wreaked across the universe. This one, however, focuses on what our group of heroes has last, showing particularly poignant flashbacks in black-and-white as they reminisce about their loved ones. It gives them the motivation and drive to reverse the damage caused by Thanos.
Also — Hawkeye has a terrible mohawk.
As the surviving heroes — remember, that’s Iron Man, Captain America, Black Widow, Hawkeye, War Machine, Thor, Nebula, Rocket, and Ant-Man — gear up for battle, they’re joined in the end by a newly familiar face.
That’s right: Captain Marvel officially joins the fray.
In the last moments of the trailer, right after the title runs, she and Thor have a staredown.
“I like this one,” Thor declares.
Avengers: Endgame will be released on April 26. Catch Captain Marvel in theaters now.
