Fortnite remains enormously popular, and the free-to-play Battle Royale from Epic Games is the basis for a brand new Xbox One S 1TB bundle.
The Xbox One S Fortnite Battle Royale Special Edition Bundle includes a controller and 1TB Xbox One S in a deep, “gradient purple” color scheme.
Also included as part of the limited edition Xbox One S is Dark Vertex Fortnite skin set, 2,000 V-bucks, as well as one free month of Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass.
The Xbox One S Fortnite Battle Royale Special Edition Bundle goes on sale Friday, June 7 in the United States for $299, coinciding with the start of Sony’s Days of Play sale. The Days of Play sale includes a limited edition Days of Play PS4 console, as well as plenty of of other sales on both software and hardware.
Last year, Xbox got its E3 sales event started a day before the Sony Days of Play 2018 sale. With a June 7 sale date for the new Xbox One S bundle, it looks like Microsoft could kick off its own E3 2019 sales event on the same day as Sony, but time will tell.
