The first gameplay trailer for Double Fine’s long-awaited sequel Psychonauts 2 has arrived. The gameplay trailer was shown off during the Xbox E3 2019 briefing where studio boss Tim Schafer appeared on stage to introduce the new video.
It was also confirmed during Microsoft’s E3 briefing that Microsoft is acquiring Double Fine for an undisclosed sum. Going forward, Schafer says "nothing about us is going to change at all" after Microsoft’s acquisition.
The trailer shows off some of the wacky and weird worlds in Psychonauts 2 that players will explore. Take a look for yourself in the video below:
