Project xCloud will be available to play at E3.
By Jessie Wade
Head of Xbox, Phil Spencer, announced they’re bringing Xbox to the cloud with Project xCloud for users.
“Two months ago we connected all Xbox developers to project x cloud. Today, we invite those of you here at E3 for our first public hands-on of Project xCloud,” Spencer announced on stage.
The new platform feature, which Spencer called Console Streaming, turns your Xbox One into your own personal Xbox server for free. “You can play your games wherever you go,” he said.
Immediately following the announcement for Project xCloud, Microsoft officially announced the next-generation Xbox console: Project Scarlett. To read all of the details we know so far, check out the announcement of Project Scarlett, which will be released in during the holidays of 2020.
