Oninaki Release Date Announced

During Square Enix’s E3 2019 press conference, the JRPG powerhouse announced Oninaki is officially coming August 22, 2019

Announced alongside a new trailer, Oninaki is coming to PC, PS4 and Nintendo Switch.

Oninaki was first announced in February, and marks the third game from Tokyo RPG Factory. We said of its first, I Am Setsuna, that “few story-driven RPGs are so thematically focused or so gleefully disinterested with being ‘entertaining’ or ‘fun.’“

Its second, Lost Sphear, was slightly less of a recommendation – we said it’s “so cluttered with homages to classic RPGs that it fails to create an identity of its own.”
