Jesse is in trouble — still
“Police officers call the carnage ‘staggering’ — apparently a remote-controlled machine gun was used in the killings.”
Yeah, apparently.
In case you forget the hyperventilation-causing finale of Breaking Bad, the trailer for Netflix’s new sequel movie will remind you. Creator Vince Gilligan picks up where his finale left off this fall with El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie, a thriller that finds Jesse (Aaron Paul) in the moments after his breakout from white supremacist incarceration. The film will premiere exclusively on Netflix, where both Breaking Bad and Gilligan’s spinoff Better Call Saul have drawn major crowds.
In Breaking Bad’s final moments, Walter busted his former student out of a neo-Nazi drug den, where he’d been working in chains as their prisoner. And that was that — Jesse drove off into the sunset. El Camino, according to Netflix, will answer some major questions. “In the wake of his dramatic escape from captivity, Jesse must come to terms with his past in order to forge some kind of future.”
Yes, the Breaking Bad movie is real. Buckle up: El Camino arrives on Netflix on Oct. 11.
