Rare appeared at X019 with a series of announcements. First, the company revealed that it was working on a new IP called Everwild. But that doesn’t mean Sea of Thieves will be taking a backseat. Rare also announced the next round of new content coming to its live-service pirate sim, The Seabound Soul.
The Seabound Soul update will be available for free on November 20. This update will add a lore-focused Tall Tale mission for players who want to team up with Captain Pendragon to uncover some kind of mystery around the ship, the Ashen Dragon. Rare’s also teasing a new "threat" that could be coming to the pirate world.
