Control, our Game of the Year, just received its first update titled Expeditions, which is available for free to all players who own the game now.
This new mode allows you to take on a series of challenges that award you with unique mods of Rare, Absolute, and Prime rarities. Challenges will pit you against rare and dangerous foes. Completing all four of the Expeditions will unlock one final reward.
Additionally, Control will be launching paid DLC next year, beginning with Expansion 1 titled The Foundation, which launches March 26, 2020. According to Remedy Games, "The Foundation will delve into the history of the Oldest House. At the request of the ever-mysterious Board, Jesse must explore what lies beneath the Bureau as she returns order to the Foundation and the Oldest House itself. Expect things to get weird."
