Team Fnatic’s 2017 comeback was pretty cool
Here’s the thing about MOBAs: They are really complicated. They take a really long time to get into, and once you’re in, you’re in. You’re no longer a normal person. You’re a MOBA Person. When I tell a normal person I’ve logged 400 hours in Dota 2, they gasp. When I tell a MOBA person the same thing, they chuckle derisively.
And they should. When I’m watching high-level play in Dota 2 or League of Legends, all I see is a wall of dancing colors and twinkling lights, like when you jam your palms into your eyeballs really hard.
