Nintendo and The Pokémon Co. have some Pokémon news for you, and you can watch a new Pokémon Direct presentation live right here to hear the latest.

The roughly 20-minute Pokémon Direct will air Thursday, Jan. 9, at 9:30 a.m. ET/6:30 a.m. PT on Nintendo’s YouTube and Twitch channels, as well as on Facebook and Twitter.

Possible topics of discussion include new content coming to Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield for Nintendo Switch; Pokémon Sleep, which wants to turn your good night’s sleep into entertainment; that mysterious Detective Pikachu sequel; and Pokémon Home, the cloud-based storage system that will work with Pokémon Go, Pokémon: Let’s Go!, and Sword and Shield.

Of course, there’s always room for a few surprises. There has been some speculation that Pokémon Diamond and Pearl may be getting remakes of some sort, and The Pokémon Co. recently teamed up with Tencent to make Pokémon games (for China). So who knows!
