Hokko Life’s customization looks great

Hokko Life is the latest game to join the trend of soothing life simulators where you can farm and decorate to your heart’s content.

As shown in the trailer, it seems that you can garden, customize how your town looks down to the placement of the houses, and even design your own clothes. With all the villagers looking like cats and dogs, Hokko Life appears to be Animal Crossing, but for PC — and we’re on board with that.

Unlike Animal Crossing and other life sims, it looks like you can specifically design your furniture, placing couch cushions where you want, while freely rotating the furniture around before you place it. It’s a customization dream come true.

The game will go into early access in 2020, with a full release planned for the first half of 2021. Hokko Life will be available for Windows via Steam. You can wishlist the game now.
