The new James Bond movie, No Time to Die, was set for release in April, with tickets going on sale earlier this week. However, it has now been announced that the film has been delayed. Due to concerns involving the coronavirus (COVID-19), the movie will now release in November.
The delay was announced by the movie’s producers, who released a statement via Twitter. The statement reads, "MGM, Universal and Bond producers, Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli, announced today that after careful consideration and thorough evaluation of the global theatrical marketplace, the release of NO TIME TO DIE will be postponed until November 2020." Specifically, No Time to Die will now hit in the UK on November 12 and the US on November 25.

This movie’s delay follows a fan petition that was launched this week, urging the movie’s producers to delay release because of the coronavirus. The petition stated, "We have all waited over four years for this film. Another few months will not damage the quality of the film and only help the box-office for Daniel Craig’s final hurrah." Publicity tours for the movie in countries where the coronavirus has hit the hardest, such as China, South Korea, and Japan, had already been cancelled.
