WWE Wrestlemania Coming To ESPN With Encore Presentations

As Wrestlemania season rolls on, 2020 is proving to be the strangest year ever for WWE’s biggest annual show. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic, it was previously revealed that Wrestlemania 36 wouldnot take place at Tampa, Florida’s Raymond James Stadium–opting instead for it to be broadcast from WWE’s Performance Center with no audience–and that this year’s Wrestlemania will take place over two nights, rather than one.

Now comes the news that Wrestlemania is heading to ESPN. At least, older Wrestlemanias are. WWE and ESPN have announced a series of encore presentations of the show, which will air on ESPN and stream via the network’s app.

On Sunday, March 22, Wrestlemania 30 will air on the network. That installment of the event featured Daniel Bryan, Batista, and Randy Orton battling over the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in the main event. It’s also the show where Brock Lesnar ended The Undertaker’s undefeated streak.
