The streaming service DC Universe has announced the premiere date for Season 2 of its most bizarre series, Doom Patrol. On June 25 the series will return to DC Universe, and it will also debut that day on the upcoming service HBO Max.
Additionally, the official synopsis for Season 2 was revealed. If you haven’t watched Season 1 yet, you may want to keep scrolling, as there are a few spoilers for the first season below.
"Following the defeat of Mr. Nobody (Alan Tudyk), the members of the Doom Patrol find themselves shrunken and stranded on Cliff’s toy race car track. Here they begin to deal with their feelings of betrayal by Niles Caulder aka The Chief (Timothy Dalton), while confronting their own personal baggage. As each member faces the challenge of growing beyond their own past traumatic experiences, they must come together to embrace and protect the newest member of the family: Dorothy Spinner (Abigail Shapiro), Niles’ daughter, whose powers remain a mysterious but real threat to bringing on the end of the world."
