Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens features a bunch of playable characters from across the entire series, including Darth Vader and Boba Fett. However, you might not have known about one unlockable character: The Force Awakens director JJ Abrams.
As you can see in the screenshot below (taken from a Game Informer video), Abrams comes with a camera on his back and, yes, a blaster–he looks particularly angry while he fires it, too. One of his idle animations even has him framing a shot with his fingerless Lego hands.
Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens received a score of 7 in GameSpot’s review. Critic Randolph Ramsay concluded, "Playing a lot of Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens won’t be a chore, though, especially if you do have a younger partner to take with you on your galactic journey. These Lego games are confectionaries now, little candies that don’t have a huge amount of substance but are enjoyable nonetheless. Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens doesn’t really take you to a new galaxy far, far away, but it’s still a pleasant journey."
You can take a look at a wider view of the critical reception with GameSpot’s review roundup. The reviews are positive for the latest Lego Star Wars game, and it sits at a cumulative score of 81 on GameSpot sister site Metacritic.
