The New Reservoir Dogs Game Gets A Cinematic Trailer And Release Date

The new video game based on the Quentin Tarantino crime movie Reservoir Dogs now has a release date. The top-down shooter Reservoir Dogs: Bloody Days will arrive on May 18 through Steam, film company Lionsgate and game developer Big Star Games announced today.

An Xbox One version of Bloody Days will come out “later this year.” No announcements have been made about a version of the game for PlayStation 4 or other platforms.

In addition to confirming the release date, Lionsgate and Big Star Games released a cinematic trailer that focuses on the heist game’s Time Rewind system. As announced previously, this lets players turn back time and control each member of the group to correct earlier mistakes or try a new tactic.

Bloody Days lets you play as characters from the movie, including Mr. Blonde, Mr. Blue, Mr. Brown, Mr. Orange, Mr. Pink, and Mr. White. The single-player game has 18 levels, set in places like banks, nightclubs, and docks.

Reservoir Dogs the movie was released in 1992, making it 25 years old this year. It was Tarantino’s first full-length movie, and starred Michael Madsen, Harvey Keitel, Steve Buscemi, Lawrence Tierney, Tim Roth, and Chris Penn.
