Far Cry 5 creative director Dan Hay on finding a new frontier in America, cults, and the sexiest soundtrack for a bull looking to get busy.

IGN’s Tristan Ogilvie and Luke Reilly sat down with Dan Hay, Far Cry 5 creative director and executive producer for the franchise, to get the skinny on how the team at Ubisoft Montreal has brought Far Cry 5 to life. Dan speaks at length about the motivations for selecting Montana as a new Far Cry frontier, dives into the team’s work on making the world feel truly authentic, and chats about cults, cows, and circus bears named Cheeseburger. Additionally, Tristan grills him about James Bond and Luke asks him about how many inappropriately-shaped ponds we might find in the final game. Download it now!
