The expansion will come to other platforms later, although specific release dates have not yet been announced.

The latest expansion for Darkest Dungeon is available now for PC players.

The $5 USD expansion, titled The Color Of Madness, launches today and is available on Steam, GOG, and Humble Bundle. Developer Red Hook Studios also revealed a launch trailer, so be sure to check it out below.

The expansion will introduce new trinkets, enemy types, and bosses, as well as a new wave-based survival area, The Farmstead. While the developer has confirmed the expansion will eventually come to all platforms on which Darkest Dungeon is available, specific release dates have not yet been announced.

The Color Of Madness begins with a shard of alien origin crashing into the Miller’s farm, just outside the Hamlet. The crystalline shard emits a strange color, and begins spreading to the surrounding areas, taking over those souls unfortunate enough to come in contact with it.
