McFarlane Toys and Epic Games announced Monday in a press release their partnership in creating a range of Fortnite premium collectible figures, resin statues, and accessories.

The collection will feature seven-inch premium figures and will be launching in fall 2018 from mass retail stores.

CEO and Founder of McFarlane Toys, Todd McFarlane commented:

“The Fortnite brand has taken on global status and continues to grow each day. The game, with its sense of skill and irreverent fun, now has hundreds of character options to choose from, which is a tremendous blueprint for making any successful toy and action figure line,” said Todd McFarlane, CEO and Founder of McFarlane Toys.

The developer’s art team at Epic Games has the same outlook at McFarlane. The collaboration will focus on showcasing both the current and classic looks from the Fortnite franchise.

Worldwide Creative Director of Epic Games, Donald Mustard, said he thinks players are “going to be blown away” from the prototypes that he has seen.

Fortnite just recently celebrated its one-year anniversary and has helped make Epic Games worth up to $8 billion. Fortnite is also believed to have made over $1 billion from in-game purchases, and it completely dominates the battle royale market that’s believed to be so large that it could earn $20 billion next year.
