Fortnite season 7 Battle Pass revealed

Fortnite’s newest season has arrived and that means an all-new Battle Pass full of new skins, gliders and pets.

This time around, the Battle Pass has a winter theme, and that means characters are bundled up in their new skins with parkas and winter coats — except for Santa who only has a tactical vest on. Adding to last season’s addition of pets, this season is also bringing with it a new hamster friend and an ice-wolf puppy with glowing eyes.

Just like the previous few seasons, season 7’s Battle Pass will have 100 tiers of unlockable rewards that can all be gained just through playing the game.

Epic Games

This season’s Battle Pass costs 950 V-Bucks, or about $9.50. There is also a bundle version that costs 2,800 V-Bucks that will unlock the first 25 tiers of the pass instantly. Players can also buy individual tier unlocks for 150 V-Bucks per tier.

If you’d rather not spend money on the Battle Pass, Epic is also offering a free version of the pass that will still unlock rewards and keep track of all the progress you’ve earned. If you decide you want to upgrade the free pass to the permanent option, you’ll be able to do that at any time and still keep the rewards and progress you gained from the free version.

This time around, the Battle Pass will also grant early access to Fortnite’s new Creative mode which won’t go live for everyone else until Dec. 13. The pass also unlocks the game’s weekly challenges, which can help you unlock tiers faster by giving you bonus rewards for completing them.

Fortnite’s season 7 Battle Pass is available now, and will continue to be available until the end of the season on Feb. 28.
